| Thornbury celebrated Christmas on Tuesday with a 24-3 win over Gordano in the Combination Cup. Tries from Jon Day, Evan Hughes, Adam Hodgkins and Luke Workman helped to see off the visitors, while Simon Weaver added two conversions. Thorns now have a break for their new year celebrations before travelling to Cheltenham North on Saturday 8th as their league campaign resumes. Thornbury will be keen to avenge the home defeat they suffered against Cheltenham North a few weeks ago. |
