John Cottam led the charge with two of the four tries, while Weaver continued his impressive form off the tee in converting them all and landing a penalty. Nick Gwilliam and Kevin Rudrum also crossed for an equally impressive try apiece.
Several scores went begging in the second half, but this did little to dampen the spirits on a glorious autumn afternoon that saw Thorns maintain their place at the top of the league.
